Laura Morton has written over thirty books with a range of celebrities
including, Danica Patrick, Ed and Lois Smart - the parents of Elizabeth
Smart, Criss Angel, Usher, Joan Lunden, Marilu Henner, Jerry Springer,
Delta Burke, Denise Rich, Naomi Judd, Kathy Ireland, Melissa Etheridge,
Duane "Dog" Chapman, the Jonas Brothers, Sandra Lee, Kim Zimmer, and
Susan Lucci. Lucci's memoir "All My Life" was an instant New York Times
Best-Seller and marked Morton's thirteenth time on the list.
In late 2007, Laura collaborated with Duane "Dog" Chapman on “You Can
Run But You Can't Hide” (Hyperion). The book debuted at number one on
The New York Times best-seller list its first week in publication, remaining in
the first position for two consecutive weeks. In 2010, Laura again worked
with Duane "Dog" Chapman on his follow-up book "Where Mercy Is Shown,
Mercy Is Given".

Laura has co-authored a total of thirteen New York Times best-selling
books, starting with “Joan Lunden’s Healthy Cooking” (Little, Brown) and the
follow up book, “Joan Lunden’s Healthy Living” (Crown), both of which
appeared on every major best seller list including The New York Times,
Publisher’s Weekly, and The Wall Street Journal. Her third book, “Marilu
Henner’s Total Health Makeover”, published by Regan Books, a division of
Harper-Collins, made its debut in May, 1998, and appeared on The New York
Times, The Wall Street Journal and Publisher’s Weekly best seller lists,
remaining there for nearly three months. “Total Health Makeover” was also
named one of the top five selling books of 1998 by Amazon.com and Barnes
and Noble, and made the USA Today best seller list in January of 1999.
Additionally, Laura co-wrote Jerry Springer’s autobiography “Ringmaster!”
for St. Martin’s Press, which became a best-seller in several countries in
Europe, including reaching number one in England and the Netherlands, as
well as being adapted as a major feature film. She also completed a sequel
with Marilu Henner, titled “The 30-Day Total Health Makeover”, released in
early March 1999. This follow up book reached the bestseller status of their
first book in its first thirty days in publication.
Two of Morton’s books were released in March 2000. “Making the
Impossible Possible”, a book Morton co-wrote with well-known entrepreneur
Jason Boreyko, owner of one of the largest network marketing companies in
the world, New Vision International, and “Totally Dairy-Free Cooking”
written with the popular New York based chef, Louis Lanza. Recently, Laura
collaborated with one of the most sought after celebrity event and party
planners, David Tutera, on his first book, “A Passion for Parties” published in
the fall of 2001 by Simon and Schuster.
Morton’s best-selling book, “The Truth Is…” co-authored with Melissa
Etheridge was on The New York Times Bestseller list for eight weeks during
the summer of 2001 and was chosen as the number one Music Biography of
2001 by USA Today. “The Truth Is… was recently released in paperback with
new text and photos, and reached bestseller status once again. Laura also
co-wrote a book with Kathy Ireland, titled “Kathy Ireland’s Powerful
Inspirations”, released June 22, 2002.
Laura Morton has been involved in the entertainment industry for fifteen
years as a writer and producer having founded Golden Advantage Productions
and What Was I Thinking, Inc. two full service television and video
production companies in New York City. Her extensive network of contacts
includes high profile personalities and executives in the worlds of television,
film, music, and publishing. Morton has major media links and extensive
experience as a spokesperson, appearing numerous times on national
television as well as lecturing to capacity crowds on various health and
fitness related topics. She can effectively market her books in all areas.
In 2006, Laura collaborated with Indy Racing sensation, Danica Patrick,
on her book "Crossing the Line”, as well as two additional books - “It’s Not
Just About Wrinkles” with world renowned Park Avenue Dermatologist Dr.
Neal Schultz and “MindFreak: Secret Revelations” with master illusionist
Criss Angel. In 2007, her collaborations also included "Made From Scratch"
with food icon Sandra Lee. In 2009,
Laura worked with the Jonas
Brothers on
their behind-the-scenes book "Burning Up: On Tour with the Jonas
Brothers", and with Korn bassist Reggie "Fieldy" Arvizu on his autobiography
"Got The Life".
In 2010, Laura's also released, "Rock What You've Got" with Katherine
Schwarzenegger, as well as "Life! By Design: 6 Steps to an Extraordinary
You" with renowned business coach and mentor Tom Ferry.
2011 releases include "I'm Just Sayin'!: Three Deaths, Seven
Husbands,and a Clone! My Life as a Daytime Diva", with soap star Kim
Zimmer and "Passion To Action" with Jay and Beth Loecken.
